Trump Tower Land Surveys
Since 1930 Chicago Guarantee Survey has been preparing plats of survey for the Old Chicago Sun Times building. As you may know that building was demolished to make way for Trump Tower. All three of our companies have had a hand in the creation of the tower. Chicago Guarantee did the original Plat of Survey before construction started. James Schaeffer and Schimming worked on various layout and quality control tasks. Gremley and Biedermann then prepared the air rights division separating the commercial, residential and hotel parcels.The body content of your post goes here. The Following life story was taken from a document found in the PLCS archives which was preserved by Chicago Guarantee Survey Company. Said archive dates back to the mid to late 1800s.
Survey of lot 4 and the East 12′ of lot 5.
This one seems kind of overwhelming at first. The pages are so battered and torn that it is hard to decipher some of what is going on.
I believe this survey to be done by Eckstein for Stein and Baumgarth of lot 8 in Nutts subdivision of lots 1,2, and 3 in block 64 of a subdivision of the Southwest quarter of section 21-39-14.
